Rad Power Bikes has introduced its latest RadRunner series of electric bikes, including the all-new RadRunner, RadRunner Plus, and the flagship RadRunner Max Cargo. The new lineup features enhanced performance, upgraded safety features, and increased utility for urban and off-road use.
The top-tier RadRunner Max Cargo is equipped with a 750 W rear hub motor generating up to 90 Nm of torque and supports speeds of up to 28 mph (45 kph). Designed to manage inclines of up to 25 degrees, the e-bike also includes a 672 Wh detachable battery with safe-shield thermal protection, providing an estimated range of 60 miles (96.5 km) per charge. A newly introduced optional Range Extender can increase the total range to up to 125 miles (201 km).

Built for durability and functionality, the RadRunner Max Cargo features an aluminum frame certified to UL safety standards and is rated for payloads up to 420 lbs (190.5 kg). Additional features include a Gemma GA-100B hydraulic brake system, 20â x 3.5â tires, and Exsho suspension with 80 mm of travel for improved ride comfort on rough surfaces.
A built-in color display provides real-time information such as speed, battery status, pedal assist level, trip distance, and remaining range. New to this generation is radar-based vehicle detection, which alerts riders to approaching traffic or nearby cyclists. Other technology enhancements include a USB-C charging port, IPX6 water resistance, passcode protection, and Apple Find My support for location tracking via Apple devices.
The RadRunner Max Cargo is available in a single deep emerald green color and is priced at $2,299. The e-bike is currently open for preorders on Rad Power Bikesâ website, with shipments scheduled to begin in May 2025.
