QuietKat, renowned for its outdoor e-bike brand tailored for hunters and off-road enthusiasts, is venturing into the urban landscape with its latest innovation—the QuietKat Lynx electric moped.
Blurring the lines between an electric bicycle and a moped, the Lynx boasts a 1,000W motor and a distinct “café moto style,” positioning itself firmly within the electric moped territory.
The rear hub motor, featuring a two-speed configuration, is cleverly integrated into a rear swingarm, offering a full-suspension setup to ensure seamless handling on both asphalt and rugged trails.
The company explains that the Lynx represents a groundbreaking category for QuietKat, combining its proven off-road prowess with a stylish and powerful ride, tailored for discerning users who demand cutting-edge technology and a premium experience. It promises the ability to navigate roads with flair and effortlessly tackle rough terrains.
Although full technical specifications, including battery capacity and top speed, are yet to be revealed, QuietKat has disclosed several exciting features of the bike. These include dual-piston hydraulic disc brakes, fenders, a rear rack, LED lighting, GPS tracking, and Bluetooth connectivity. The Lynx will also boast 24″ x 4.5″ tires, offering enhanced handling and traction with its slightly smaller diameter wheels and wider contact patch compared to traditional full-size fat-tire e-bikes.
Additionally, the non-adjustable moto-style saddle will be crafted with synthetic leather, catering to the preferences of vegan customers—an aspect that aligns with QuietKat’s diverse audience, including hunting e-bike enthusiasts.
Anticipated to retail at approximately US $4,000, the QuietKat Lynx is slated for release later this summer. As the public release date approaches, more details on the bike’s final technical specifications are expected to be unveiled.
The QuietKat Lynx brings a fusion of outdoor adventure and urban charm, appealing to a wide range of riders seeking a thrilling and versatile electric moped experience.
