Q-Park Netherlands said it has partnered with European EV charging platform provider GreenFlux to enhance its electric vehicle (EV) charging operations, migrating 1,700 charging points to the GreenFlux management platform.

The deal will see Q-Park leverage GreenFlux’s charge point management system and smart-charging technology. The migration included a transition from the Shell Recharge backend, with both companies acknowledging Shell’s role in ensuring a smooth process.

“Q-Park is a well-known parking and mobility brand and has an outstanding reputation,” said Suthalan Gnanes, managing director at GreenFlux. “This partnership demonstrates our commitment to drive the future of commercial parking as we now serve the top commercial parking operators in Europe.”

Michiel Tenge, managing director at Q-Park Netherlands, said demand for charging facilities is growing. “EV charging is increasingly important for Q-Park as our customers expect to be able to charge while parking,” he said, adding the collaboration would provide more flexibility and support the company’s growth ambitions.

GreenFlux operates an e-mobility platform with over 1 million charge points across Europe, offering services such as roaming, energy management, payments, and cybersecurity.
