Power Innovations International (Pii) said its 30 kW and 60 kW Level 3 electric vehicle chargers have been approved for inclusion on the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) Vetted Product List, a designation that supports their use in commercial, industrial, and utility charging applications.
The Utah-based power systems company said both stationary and mobile indoor versions of its chargers were recognized by EPRI for meeting performance, safety, and reliability standards. The chargers support a wide voltage range—including 240 Vac single-phase, 208 and 240 3-phase, and 480 3-phase Wye—without requiring derating or step-up transformers.

“Having our chargers recognized by EPRI adds an additional layer of trust with our customers,” said Dan Ellis, Pii’s EV Product Manager. “With this latest listing, we’ll be able to better support our growing presence in utility programs across the country.”
The chargers are designed for a range of applications including fleet operations, OEM test facilities, retail and hospitality sites, and large-scale DC fast-charging deployments in areas lacking 480V infrastructure. Pii’s indoor mobile model also enables plug-and-play DC charging through existing wall receptacles, reducing installation costs and eliminating the need for major electrical upgrades.

“These additions to the EPRI list highlight our commitment to compliance, safety, and reliability,” said Nick Stone, Pii Product and Market Manager. “We’re excited about the growth and innovation this brings to our expanding charging portfolio.”
The recognition further strengthens Pii’s role in North American utility programs as utilities and commercial customers accelerate the rollout of flexible, high-performance EV charging infrastructure.
