Porsche has released a tantalizing teaser for its upcoming high-performance variant of the Taycan, set to be unveiled on March 11. Dubbed the “most dynamic Taycan of all time,” the new model is expected to carry the Turbo GT badge, joining Porsche’s elite lineup of extreme offerings.

Notably, the Taycan Turbo GT holds the record as the fastest Taycan to lap the Nurburgring, clocking in at an impressive 7:07.55. This time is a remarkable 18 seconds faster than its rival, the Tesla Model S Plaid, and a mere 2.25 seconds slower than the hypercar Rimac Nevera.

The current Taycan Turbo S, which was recently facelifted, delivers up to 939 horsepower (700 kW / 952 PS) from its dual electric motors, enabling it to sprint from 0-60 mph (0-97 km/h) in just 2.3 seconds. Rumors suggest that the Turbo GT variant will exceed 1,000 horsepower (746 kW / 1,014 PS).

The official unveiling of the Porsche Taycan Turbo GT will be hosted by Formula E pit lane reporter Nicki Shields, alongside Porsche’s vice-president Kevin Giek, former Le Mans driver Timo Benhard, and test driver Lars Kern, who set the impressive lap time at the Nurburgring.
