Polestar has announced a significant price reduction for its Polestar 4 SUV in China. However, this discount is exclusively available to the first 100 customers who purchase the vehicle.
In a statement on Weibo today, Polestar revealed that Chinese customers who buy the Polestar 4 during March will receive a discount of RMB 60,000 yuan ($8,340). This discount is limited to purchases made between March 1-31 and is restricted to the first 100 customers who have paid a deposit.

With this discount, the Polestar 4’s starting price is reduced to RMB 239,900, down from its original price. The company’s poster indicates that the Polestar 4 has three versions, with initial prices of RMB 299,900, RMB 339,900, and RMB 399,900 before the discount.
In addition to the discount, Polestar is offering other limited-time benefits in March. These include a free upgrade to the smart driving suite valued at RMB 35,000, Nappa seat upgrades at a reduced price of RMB 14,000 (originally RMB 28,000), and a halved price for the performance package, now RMB 15,000 instead of RMB 30,000.

Polestar introduced the Polestar 4 in China on the first day of the Shanghai auto show on April 17, 2023, with starting prices ranging from RMB 349,800 to 533,800 yuan. The company later reduced the starting price to RMB 299,900 on November 16, 2023, by removing the original benefit package included in the Polestar 4’s price.
Polestar commenced deliveries of the Polestar 4 in China on January 12, offering four versions with starting prices of RMB 299,900, RMB 339,900, RMB 369,900, and RMB 399,900, respectively.
