Polestar announced Polestar O2 electric roadster concept with an integrated drone

Polestar, an electric vehicle manufacturer from Sweden has just introduced a concept electric roadster called the Polestar O2.

The Polestar O2 is Polestar’s second concept electric vehicle, which is a joint venture between Volvo and Geely. This concept car debuted in Los Angeles and was designed with a self-produced aluminum platform, as well as some other interesting innovations, such as an integrated drone for aerial filming.

The Polestar O2 looks really fun to drive. It is a two-seater electric sports vehicle with futuristic features. As we know, most of the sports car manufacturers like Lamborghini and Ferrari are still working on their first electric models.

All Polestar O2 interior components are made from recycled polyester, including foams, adhesives, 3D knitted fibers and non-woven laminates.

The most futuristic feature of the Polestar O2 is that it integrates with the cinematic drone that sits behind the back seat.

Cinematic drones can be used while the vehicle is in motion. The drone will fly over the vehicle and record the driving scene.

Integration with the drone is possible thanks to a special aerofoil in the rear seat which creates a quiet area from negative pressure. That’s what makes the drone take off when the car is moving.
