Polestar has announced the Polestar 2 Long range Single motor is available for the US market. The Polestar 2 Long range can be ordered online for $45,900.
The Polestar 2 currently comes in three variants with a combination of standard and long range batteries of 78 kWh, and dual and single motor powertrains with up to 300 kW and 660 Nm of power.
The Polesatar is the lowest priced model in the Polestar lineup, this latest EPA model has a range of 270 miles which is the longest in the Polestar lineup.
Over the next three years, Polestar will launch one new electric vehicle per year. This year the Polestar 3 SUV will be launched which is planned to be produced in the United States. In 2023, the Polestar 4 will be launched as a smaller electric coupe SUV. In 2024, the Polestar 5 electric performance 4-door GT is planned to be launched.
