The Polestar 2 has officially entered the Australian electric vehicle market, marked by deliveries to consumers in Sydney and Melbourne, Australia.
Since first starting sales in February, Polestar 2 has experienced a massive surge in demand from customers.
In addition to the Polestar 2, the Swedish electric vehicle manufacturer will also sell the Polestar 3 in 2023.
“This is a very proud moment for everyone at Polestar, as we begin the official handover to our Australian owners just weeks after it was first sold,” said Samantha Johnson, Head of Polestar Australia.
Samantha said launching electric vehicles amid various incentives made consumers who want to accelerate the transition from vehicles with internal combustion engines to electric vehicles.
Polesatar 2 can be ordered online from anywhere and anytime. Polestar 2 itself comes with a typical Scandinavian minimalist design. The Polestar 2 has strong performance, the latest technology and a commitment to the environment.
Polestar 2 have two electric motors mounted front and rear providing all-wheel drive and being fed by a floor mounted 75 kWh battery pack. Peak power has been rated at 408 PS (300 kW) with 487 lb-ft (660 Nm) of torque.
Pricing for Polestar 2 starts at $59,900* for the Standard range Single motor version, and $64,900* for the Long range Single motor version.
