U.S.-based Pioneer Power Solutions has signed a memorandum of understanding with Savvy Charging Technologies to introduce its mobile electric vehicle charging systems to the United Arab Emirates, marking the launch of its first international franchise operation.
Under the agreement, Savvy Charging will act as Pioneer’s local franchise partner in the UAE for the deployment of e-Boost mobile charging units, with an initial pilot unit scheduled for delivery in the first quarter of 2026. The companies aim to establish recurring revenue from franchise operations starting next year, with broader commercial scaling expected from 2027.

The first unit to be delivered will be an e-Boost G.O.A.T. mobile charging system mounted on a Ford F-350 chassis. Following delivery, Savvy will carry out regulatory compliance testing and demonstrations for fleet operators before securing additional orders for locally manufactured units. A technology transfer agreement will support regional production to meet UAE certification and cost requirements.
The partnership is targeting demand from fleet operators as the UAE moves to accelerate electrification. Government mandates require 30% of vehicle fleets to transition to electric power by 2030, a policy that affects large operators such as Dubai Taxi Corporation, which runs a fleet of about 4,000 vehicles.

“Our franchise model combines our e-Boost technology and proven operational playbooks with Savvy’s deep local market expertise and distribution capabilities,” said Nathan Mazurek, chairman and chief executive of Pioneer Power Solutions.
Savvy Charging operates a mobile charging-as-a-service model, allowing fleet operators to deploy EVs without waiting for permanent grid infrastructure. The companies plan to formally showcase the partnership at a major electrification trade show in the UAE in January 2026.
