Savvy Charging Technologies and EV Bee have entered into a strategic partnership aimed at expanding mobile and off-grid electric vehicle charging services across the Middle East, Turkey and neighboring markets.

The companies said the collaboration targets an estimated US$185 million market opportunity in the region’s emerging mobile charging and off-grid charging infrastructure sector.

Combining Mobile and V2V Charging Technologies

The partnership brings together Abu Dhabi-based Savvy Charging Technologies, which specializes in off-grid charging solutions, and Istanbul-based EV Bee, a developer of vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) charging technology.

Under the agreement, the companies plan to collaborate on technology development, data sharing and market expansion initiatives.

The partnership will focus on integrating charging technologies and expanding charging services for emergency assistance, roadside support and commercial fleet operations.

Expanding Charging Access

According to the companies, the initiative is intended to address charging accessibility challenges in regions where conventional charging infrastructure remains limited.

Vehicle-to-vehicle charging enables energy transfer directly between electric vehicles, providing an alternative charging option in locations without immediate access to fixed charging stations.

The companies said this approach could support a variety of use cases, including emergency charging services and mobile energy support for electric vehicle owners.

Focus on Commercial Services

The partnership identifies several sectors that could benefit from expanded mobile charging capabilities.

Potential users include:

  • Recovery and towing operators
  • Roadside assistance providers
  • Vehicle insurance companies
  • Commercial fleet operators

The companies said mobile charging services could help improve support for electric vehicle drivers while reducing dependence on fixed charging infrastructure in certain applications.

Executive Comments

Muhammad Jamal, chief executive officer of Savvy Charging Technologies, said the partnership builds on the company’s broader efforts to expand off-grid charging capabilities.

“This partnership introduces both companies into what is now becoming the largest off-grid charging network in the world,” Jamal said.

“Following our agreement with Pioneer Energy Eboost, this partnership with EV Bee further strengthens our position as a global leader in off-grid EV charging.”

He added that the companies plan to exchange technology expertise, charging data and market insights as part of the collaboration.

Ozan, founder of EV Bee, said the partnership is intended to support broader electric vehicle adoption across the region.

“The Middle East and Turkey represent tremendous potential for off-grid charging infrastructure,” Ozan said.

“With our state-of-the-art V2V technology, this collaboration will create a giant leap in consumer confidence and accelerate EV adoption throughout the region.”

Growing Interest in Alternative Charging Models

The agreement reflects increasing interest in mobile, off-grid and vehicle-to-vehicle charging solutions as electric vehicle adoption expands into markets where charging networks remain under development.

Such systems are increasingly being explored as complementary infrastructure capable of supporting emergency charging, temporary deployments, remote operations and fleet applications.

The companies said their initial focus will be on the Middle East, Turkey and nearby markets, with plans to explore additional opportunities as demand for electric vehicle charging services continues to grow.

The partnership is expected to combine Savvy’s off-grid charging ecosystem with EV Bee’s V2V technology platform to develop new charging solutions tailored to regional infrastructure needs.
