Source has joined OVO’s charging network, giving OVO Charge customers direct access to the company’s ultra-rapid hubs across the UK. The roaming deal integrates 150 kW chargers into OVO’s platform of more than 50,000 public charge points, extending services to both private drivers and fleets.

The agreement allows OVO Energy customers to access Source’s hubs through the OVO Charge app or card without additional registration. The integration also applies to fleet managers and drivers using OVO’s existing platform. Source said its infrastructure targets uptime above 99% and is supported by AI-driven site monitoring to ensure reliability.

Source plans to capture up to 20% of the UK and Ireland’s ultra-rapid charging market and is developing a network of 300 hubs equipped mainly with 150 kW chargers. By joining OVO’s platform, the sites will become accessible to a broader range of users.

“By integrating with OVO’s established platform, we’re removing barriers and ensuring more drivers can experience Source’s stress-free charging,” said Alice Aprile-Smith, Head of Partnerships and Business Development at Source. “Whether it’s a fleet manager tracking costs through one monthly invoice or a taxi driver needing reliable rapid charging, this partnership delivers the accessibility and convenience that drives EV adoption.”

Alex Thwaites, Director of Electric Vehicles at OVO, said: “Partnering with Source means our customers can enjoy faster charging without changing their charging habits. By adding Source’s premium ultra-rapid hubs to the OVO Charge network, we’re giving drivers even greater access to reliable, high-speed charge points across the UK.”
