Onvo, the sub-brand of Nio Inc, reported record deliveries in August as sales of its L90 electric SUV surpassed 10,000 units, marking a milestone for the model’s first full month on the market.

The company highlighted the achievement at the Chengdu auto show, where the 10,000th L90 was handed over.

Onvo also presented the seven-seat version of the SUV at the event, with customer deliveries of that variant expected to begin in late September.

The L90, officially launched on July 31, began deliveries on Aug. 1. The six-seat version is currently being delivered.

Onvo’s previous monthly record was 10,528 units in December 2024, when its first model, the L60 midsize SUV, reached that level.
