The feature, described as an industry first, allows users to switch between vehicles seamlessly while maintaining separate charging records for personal and company cars. “This new MultiCar function in our app is a great example of our commitment to innovation and a major step forward for the growing numbers of households with more than one EV,” said David Watson, CEO of Ohme.
Ohme’s MultiCar function also provides detailed data on individual vehicle charging, tracking kilowatt-hour usage and costs by day, month, or year.

Additionally, the feature supports guest access, allowing visiting EVs to be added for convenient charging. The system integrates with all UK energy tariffs, including dynamic plans like Intelligent Octopus Go, which adjusts charging to periods of lower electricity rates.
Ohme has established partnerships with major automakers, including Mercedes-Benz, Volvo Cars, and Volkswagen Group, and serves as the exclusive EV charging provider for the UK’s Motability scheme. The company recently received two 2024 What Wallcharger? Awards for its ePod charger and tariff integration.
