The Nireeka Mega electric mountain bike has recently launched its crowdfunding campaign on the popular platform Indiegogo. This cutting-edge model boasts impressive features, including a full-suspension fat-tire design and a powerful 1500W mid-drive Bafang motor, designed to provide assistance at speeds of up to 38 mph (~61 kph) and deliver a whopping 200 Nm of torque.

One of the standout features of the Nireeka Mega is its remarkable battery performance. The Mega 750 version comes equipped with a removable 480 Wh power pack, while the Mega 1500 boasts an impressive 840 Wh Samsung battery. Riders can expect an impressive assistance range of up to 52 miles (~84 km) with this high-capacity battery.

To ensure a smooth and comfortable ride, the Mega incorporates an air suspension fork and X-Fusion O2 Pro R Air Shock rear suspension, each offering 140 mm of travel. Combined with the full suspension system and the use of fat 26 x 4-inch Maxxis tires, riders can enjoy a truly comfortable and controlled riding experience.

Controlling the Mega is made easy with the standard LCD display, allowing riders to adjust their assistance level and control the lights. For an additional US$99, riders can upgrade to the TFT display, which brings added functionality such as a USB charging port, journey information, and remaining battery level. Other optional features include Blubrake ABS brakes and an integrated smart taillight, designed to enhance safety by signaling braking to other road users.

The Nireeka Mega features a lightweight carbon fiber frame, although the heavier model weighs in at approximately 70 lbs (~31 kg). The frame is available in two sizes, 18-inch and 20-inch, making it suitable for riders between 5 ft 1-inch and 6 ft 8-inch (~155 and 210 cm) in height.

Excitingly, the Nireeka Mega 750 and 1500 models are now available for purchase through the Indiegogo platform, priced at CA$4,085 (~US$3,009) and CA$4,425 (~US$3,260), respectively. Customers worldwide can place their orders and expect shipping to commence in August of this year, bringing the cutting-edge electric mountain biking experience to riders all around the globe.
