NIO, the Chinese electric vehicle (EV) maker, has announced its delivery results for March and the first quarter of 2023. The company delivered a total of 10,378 vehicles in March, comprising of 3,203 premium smart electric SUVs and 7,175 premium smart electric sedans. In the first quarter of 2023, NIO delivered 31,041 vehicles, marking a YoY increase of 20.5%. As of March 31, 2023, the company has delivered a total of 320,597 vehicles.

To further support its EV ecosystem, NIO has been deploying its third-generation Power Swap station in China since March 28, 2023. Each station can service up to 408 swaps per day. Currently, the company has 1,339 Power Swap stations, 1,285 Power Charger stations with 6,467 chargers, and 1,154 destination charging stations with 7,993 chargers worldwide. NIO aims to speed up the expansion of its battery swapping network and install 1,000 Power Swap stations in 2023.

NIO has also been gradually releasing NOP+ Beta to vehicles based on NIO Technology 2.0 (NT2.0). Since its debut on December 27, 2022, more than 30,000 users have activated and engaged with NOP+ Beta, and the cumulative mileage has exceeded 15 million kilometers. NIO’s intelligent driving technology, powered by full-stack in-house development and closed-loop data management, has significantly improved users’ sense of reassurance, comfort, and efficiency. The company plans to continuously improve users’ intelligent driving experience through over-the-air updates.

The recent delivery results and expansion of NIO’s EV ecosystem reflect the company’s efforts to increase its market share in the highly competitive EV industry. As global demand for EVs continues to rise, NIO is well-positioned to capitalize on this trend and further establish itself as a leading player in the space.
