Nio reported delivering 20,498 vehicles in July, marking the third consecutive month with deliveries above the 20,000-unit threshold. The company’s monthly deliveries were marginally higher by 0.18% compared to the 20,462 units delivered in the same month last year but decreased by 3.35% from 21,209 units in June.
The company’s SUV models accounted for 11,964 units delivered in July, a 3.31% increase from the 11,581 units delivered in June. In contrast, deliveries of Nio’s sedan models totaled 8,534 units, reflecting an 11.36% decline from 9,628 units in June.
Nio’s current lineup includes eight models: the ES8, ES7, ES6, EC7, EC6, ET7, ET5, and ET5 Touring. The first five models are SUVs, while the last three are sedans. The company unveiled the ET9 in December, with deliveries of this executive flagship sedan slated to begin in the first quarter of 2025.
Year-to-date, Nio has delivered 107,924 vehicles, representing a 43.85% increase compared to the same period last year. As of the end of July, Nio’s cumulative deliveries since inception have reached 557,518 vehicles.
Nio is preparing for the launch of its sub-brand Onvo’s first model, the L60, which is set to debut in September. The Onvo L60 is positioned as a lower-priced SUV, aimed at the mass market, with pre-orders starting at 219,900 yuan ($30,340) including the battery. Onvo’s product launch event for the L60 will occur in late September, with deliveries expected to commence by the end of the month.
Ai Tiecheng, Onvo’s president, confirmed the launch schedule during a live video broadcast on July 25, stating, “We are excited to bring the L60 to market and believe it will significantly boost our sales performance.”
