Tesla’s highly anticipated electric pickup truck, the Cybertruck, is set to hit the market soon, and Tesla fans are eagerly awaiting its arrival. The Cybertruck has been undergoing various tests both inside and outside the Texas Gigafactory, where the first retail batches will be assembled.
A recent video has surfaced of one of the alpha prototypes of the Cybertruck with its standard air suspension equipment in lifted mode, making the rounds at Giga Texas. While the default Cybertruck air suspension doesn’t provide as high of a distance from the ground as some lift kits, it still provides an impressive 16-inch clearance in maximum extension mode, making it suitable for most off-road purposes.

Additionally, Tesla has designed the Cybertruck with a generous 35-degree approach and 28-degree departure angles, making it easier to get over objects. These features make it clear that Tesla has not only created a truck that looks unique, but also one that can perform well off-road.

Tesla has made several changes to the Cybertruck since the first prototypes were spotted. The production version will have a new rear light bar, sharp triangular side mirrors, and a “slightly smaller” chassis according to Tesla’s head of design. The truck will also be equipped with Tesla’s fastest charging technology and the new Hardware 4.0 kit, which includes more and bigger cameras for improved Full Self-Driving mode and better situational awareness.
As the release of the Cybertruck approaches, it’s clear that Tesla has put a lot of thought and effort into creating a truck that not only looks futuristic but also performs well off-road and includes cutting-edge technology. It remains to be seen how the Cybertruck will be received by consumers, but Tesla’s innovative approach to designing and producing electric vehicles is sure to make it a game-changer in the automotive industry.
