New Video Shows Extensive Suspension Testing of Tesla’s Cybertruck at Fremont Factory Test Track

Tesla is gearing up for the production of its highly anticipated Cybertruck, and recently, the electric vehicle manufacturer was spotted testing the truck’s suspension at its Fremont factory test track. This footage marks some of the most comprehensive testing of the vehicle to date.

With a fleet of Cybertruck beta prototypes currently undergoing extensive testing, the latest testing footage shows the truck going through suspension tests or more general vibration and shock testing. These tests are vital for ensuring the safety of the vehicle and its components and guaranteeing the longevity of the truck.

Tesla has always aimed for the Cybertruck to have a robust and adaptive air suspension, with the ability to raise and lower suspension four inches in either direction for easy access. Moreover, the self-leveling capabilities can adapt to any occasion and assist with every job. In fact, CEO Elon Musk has hinted that the automaker is updating the air suspension to have even more travel for off-roading.

Furthermore, the CEO has suggested that the truck might undergo testing in Baja, referencing the Baja 1000, a Mexican off-road motor sport race held each year on the Baja California Peninsula. The Cybertruck needs to have impressive off-roading capabilities, and Tesla seems to be working on making sure it can “kick butt” in challenging terrains.

As Tesla gears up for production, the extensive testing being carried out on the Cybertruck suggests that the automaker is leaving no stone unturned in ensuring that the vehicle is as safe, robust, and reliable as possible. The latest testing footage provides a glimpse of what the Cybertruck can handle and hints at what might be in store for the vehicle’s future development.
