Möve Introduces the Voyager V10, a Premium Electric Bike for Daily Commuters

In the ever-expanding landscape of electric bicycles, Möve, a well-established German bicycle manufacturer with roots dating back to 1897, has unveiled its latest premium model, the Voyager V10. Building on their legacy, Möve ventured into the e-bike realm in 2014 and now sets its sights on meeting the demands of daily commuters with the Voyager V10.

Performance-wise, the Voyager V10 is propelled by a rear hub motor from Neodrives, the Z20 E, boasting an impressive torque output of 40 Newton-meters and a peak power of 600 watts. This robust powertrain ensures effortless urban commuting, characterized by brisk acceleration and smooth rides. What’s more, the Z20 E is reputed for its silent operation and low maintenance requirements, aligning perfectly with the convenience sought by riders.

Turning to battery technology, the Voyager V10 offers a commendable range of approximately 90 miles on a single charge, though actual mileage may vary based on factors like terrain, riding habits, and more. Charging the battery is a hassle-free affair, taking just about two hours for a full charge. Moreover, the battery can be conveniently charged both on and off the bike. Enhancing the potential range is the inclusion of two regeneration modes, allowing brief battery charging while coasting downhill.

One of the standout features of the Möve Voyager V10 is its mechanical Pinion C1.122 internal gearing system. This renowned system delivers seamless gear shifts, even under load, and intelligently adapts the gear ratio to the rider’s cadence, ensuring a harmonious blend of pedal power and electric assistance. Transmitting the rider’s efforts to the rear wheel is a Gates Carbon Drive belt, which, like the motor, operates silently and demands minimal maintenance.

For an even smoother ride, the Voyager V10 is equipped with a RockShox Paragon Gold suspension fork at the front, effectively dampening the impact of uneven road surfaces. Braking confidence is assured by Shimano Cues U8000 hydraulic disc brakes. Adding to its practicality, the bike features front and rear lighting, comprising a Supernova M99 Pro headlight and a matching Supernova taillight.

The Möve Voyager V10 is offered in both step-over and step-through configurations, catering to various rider preferences. However, premium quality comes at a cost, with a price point of 6,390 Euros, roughly equivalent to $6,706 USD.

Möve’s Voyager V10 is a testament to the growing diversity and sophistication of e-bikes, particularly tailored to meet the daily commuting needs of riders seeking performance, convenience, and style in a single package.
