Samsung Display has introduced a cutting-edge 9.45-inch circular OLED display tailored for the new MINI range of electric vehicles. The recent unveiling at the esteemed Gamescom 2023 event in Cologne, Germany, showcased the fusion of Samsung Display’s technological prowess with MINI’s forward-looking automotive vision.

MINI, the iconic British automotive brand, left car enthusiasts and tech aficionados intrigued with their latest fleet of electric cars, featuring a futuristic circular OLED screen as the centerpiece of their infotainment system. This innovative screen, seamlessly integrated into the vehicle’s interior, serves as a dynamic hub for various functionalities, including multimedia playback, navigation, climate control, fuel monitoring, and voice-activated commands. Powering this system is the MINI Operating System 9, an Android-based platform, boasting 5G connectivity, GPS navigation, MINI Experience Modes, and a host of other advanced features.

The circular OLED screen, a product of the collaboration between Samsung Display and MINI, was unveiled within the captivating cylindrical display tower aptly named the MINI Incubator.
