Mini said global vehicle deliveries increased in 2025, supported by growth in battery electric vehicle sales as the brand continued to expand its electrified lineup across major markets.
The BMW-owned automaker reported worldwide sales of 288,290 vehicles in 2025, up 17.7% from the previous year. Battery electric vehicles accounted for 105,535 units, representing a year-on-year increase of 87.9%. Electric models made up more than one-third of Mini’s total deliveries globally and exceeded 50% of sales in markets including the Netherlands, Turkey, Sweden and China.

Jean-Philippe Parain, head of the Mini brand, said the company’s performance reflected broader acceptance of its electric models alongside updates across its product range.
The Mini Countryman was the brand’s highest-volume model during the year, accounting for 32.4% of total deliveries. Sales of the Countryman reached 93,305 units, an increase of 15.2% from 2024. Deliveries of the fully electric Countryman rose 81.8% year on year.
Mini’s performance-oriented John Cooper Works (JCW) models recorded sales of 25,630 units in 2025, up 59.5% from a year earlier, increasing their share of total brand sales to 8.9%. JCW models posted record sales levels in markets including the UK, Italy, Japan and Australia, according to the company.

The Mini Cooper range — including the 3-Door, 5-Door and Convertible — delivered 162,789 units in 2025, a 10.3% increase from the previous year. Sales of the Cooper Convertible totaled 22,491 units, up 18.4%, while the Cooper 5-Door recorded deliveries of 47,850 units, an increase of 26.5%.
Mini said it plans to introduce the Paul Smith Edition across the Cooper 3-Door, 5-Door and Convertible models in 2026, with both electric and combustion-engine variants available. The edition follows previous collaborations between the brand and British designer Paul Smith.
