Maybach’s first all-electric model, the Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 SUV, which debuted in the US last year, is now open for orders in Germany and other European markets, offering a blend of cutting-edge technology and Maybach’s renowned exclusivity.

In Germany, the Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 SUV starts at a base price of €200,634. The vehicle is based on the EQS SUV platform under the Mercedes-Benz brand, with enhancements to combine technological innovation with the luxury and prestige associated with Maybach.

Equipped with the same underbody battery as the EQE, the Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 SUV boasts a usable energy content of 107.8 kWh, providing a WLTP range of up to 612 kilometers. The vehicle’s drive output is an impressive 484 kW, significantly higher than the 400 kW of the Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV 580 4MATIC. The Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV 450+, with rear-wheel drive, is available from €110,800.90, while the EQS SUV 580 4MATIC starts at €147,922.95 in the Mercedes configurator.

For the premium of nearly €50,000, customers receive 84 kW more power, additional features (including the 22 kW AC charger as standard in the Maybach), enhanced comfort (e.g., “Executive” rear seats with ventilation, massage function, and neck and shoulder heating), and the optional “First-Class Rear” package, offering heightened luxury.

The manufacturer highlights the vehicle’s “elegant design, with customary elements such as the Maybach emblem or the Maybach radiator grille,” as well as the “brand-typical two-tone paintwork with its filigree pinstripe,” available as an option at extra cost. The interior is described as “designed like an elegant lounge with a holistic comfort experience for all the senses.”

Despite its exclusivity, the Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 SUV can be configured online like any other Mercedes model, showcasing various optional extras that can significantly increase the price. For example, the exclusive “Night Series” costs an additional €29,750 in Germany and is only available in combination with the aforementioned first-class rear for €17,017. This brings the total price to €247,401 before additional individual equipment details.
