Mercedes-Benz EQB electric SUV ready for US market, pricing starts at $54,500

The price of the Mercedes-Benz EQB electric SUV for the US market has been announced. The EQB that debuted in September last year will arrive at US dealers in the summer of 2022.

EQB prices for the US market were in line with expectations and this time there were no surprises. The Mercedes-Benz EQB 300 4MATIC will start at $54,500 and the EQB 350 4MATIC will start at $58,050.

The Mercedes-Benz EQB 300 4MATIC comes with three rows of all-wheel drive 225 horsepower and 390Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the EQB 350 4MATIC comes with 288hp and 521Nm of torque.

The Mercedes EQB for the global market is manufactured at the Mercedes-Benz factory in Kecskemét, Hungary. Only the China-only version is made by the BBAC joint venture in Beijing.

Mercedes-Benz says the EQB combines high versatility, compact SUV proportions, innovative technology and high usability.
