The Mercedes-AMG motorsport division recently introduced the GT 63 S E Performance. This time, they presented a special edition of this car called the F1 Edition.
This special edition does take direct inspiration from the F1 racing event where there are several additional options included in the visual package of the car.
Some of the modified parts from the standard version of the GT 63 S E Performance come with several changes that make this car look like an F1 car for the Mercedes-AMG Petronas team.

Some of the changes presented by Mercedes-AMG include the use of 21-inch alloy wheels with the latest double 5-spoke design. The wheels use a matte black finish and red alloy wheels which are more or less similar to the wheels used by the official medical car version used for F1 racing.
The next change is an aero package that includes a larger front splitter, an extra air deflector element, fixed rear aerophyll, and a sportier diffuser tweak. These components not only significantly change performance but also sharpen handling and reduce wind resistance when running at high speeds.
For the special edition GT 63 S E Performance F1 Edtion, Alpine Gray is the main color for this car. The color of this car at a glance will remind us of the typical Silver Arrow color of the Mercedes-AMG Petronas team used in F1 racing. In addition, this car is also given a few glossy black accents.

Mercedes-AMG also offers a Night Package color option, which gives the badge a darker appearance. In addition, this package also gives a dark appearance around the windows and exhaust lining. In addition, Mercedes-AMG also provides a black grille and several similar colored exterior trims complete with a chrome fuel tank cap.
Looking at the interior, this car still uses black nappa leather seats with red contrast. In addition, there are also several color accents in the interior such as the seat belt, steering wheel, and some door trims which are also coated with carbon fiber material.
Speaking of engine specifications, there are no significant changes given by Mercedes-AMG in the special edition GT 63 S E Performance F1 Edition ii. The PHEV V8 engine with power reaching 843 hp and torque of up to 1,5000 NM remains the mainstay of this car. This engine uses an additional electric motor and a high performance 4.8 kWh battery.
