Successfully making its first debut at the Guangzhou Auto Show in November last year, the Mifa 9 electric car from Maxus was re-released to pamper MPV consumers in the UK market in late 2022.

The Mifa 9 made by Maxus is specially designed using a Lithium-ion battery from CATL with a capacity of 90 kWh and can reach 323 miles / 520km (NEDC) on just one charge.

The MIFA 9 measures 5,270 mm in length, 2,000 mm in width, 1,840 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 3,200 mm.

With a cabin that is quite spacious, the Maxus Mifa 9 offers two seating configurations for its users, namely 7 seater and 8 seater.

Mifa is an acronym for maximum vehicle, smart, friendly and artistic, and is designed to be able to offer the latest advanced features for riders, such as captain seats which are equipped with electric adjustment features, as well as seat heaters.

Maxus Mifa 9 also offers rear-seat entertainment which is placed behind the driver and passenger seats.

With a sporty exterior, modern interior and digital touchscreen instrument cluster, Mifa 9 is also equipped with an Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) feature called Utopilot.

This feature is embedded in the vehicle so that the driver can activate the Lane Change Assist, Narrow Road Assist, and Parking Assist systems on the vehicle

To support this expansion, Maxus is ready to disburse a subsidy of £30 million into the UK EV market.

According to Business Vans, the subsidy is given so that van drivers and small business owners can immediately switch to using Maxus electric vehicle products.

“Despite being manufactured in China, we are proud to say that the Maxus network supports hundreds of jobs across the UK, while contributing millions of dollars to the Treasury,” said Mark Barrett, General Manager of Harris Maxus.
