Maxus Mifa 9 has seven seats with a body length of 5.27 meters, a width of two meters, and a height of 1.84 meters.
General Manager of SAIC, Maxus’ parent company, for Europe Jack Zhu said Maxus will introduce their electric vehicle lineup in its debut at IAA Transportation 2022.
“For our brand debut at IAA Transportation, we have put our ever-growing lineup of electric vehicles in the spotlight: all models presented are zero-emissions,” Zhu said.
“We are one of the most innovative vehicle brands and avant-garde electric sales representatives present in Europe today, and we want to consolidate our leading role in the Old Continent (Europe, Asia, Africa) by leading the premier trade show in this sector,” said Zhu.
The Maxus Mifa 9 offers a range of up to 595 kilometers (urban WLTP) on a single charge. The car is equipped with a 180 kW engine with a maximum torque of 350 Nm.
In addition, Mifa 9 also offers a power tailgate feature, an electric side sliding door to make it easier to open and close the car door, an electric parking brake feature, a 360-degree camera feature, smartphone charging, Intelligent headlight control, and a level 2 car autonomous system.
SAIC Maxus currently markets its products globally to 73 countries, with more than 400 active dealers across Europe. Last year, Maxus was recorded to sell 183,000 units globally.
In Italy this brand is distributed by the Koelliker Group. The executive vice president & CEO of the Koelliker Group, Marco Saltalamacchia, said: “We have introduced two Maxus electric vans, the eDeliver 3 and 9, to the Italian market.
“Being an importer and distributor in Italy of a cutting-edge brand like Maxus proved to be a farsighted choice for us. Since last year when we introduced the eDeliver 3 and 9 electric vans on the market,” said Saltalamacchia.
The Maxus lineup will enrich the product portfolio marketed by Koelliker and allow the company to continue to promote environmentally friendly solutions in the passenger and logistics vehicle segments, added Saltalamacchia.
