Lynk & Co, majority-owned by Zeekr, revealed its new flagship plug-in hybrid SUV, the Lynk & Co 900, in Shanghai on Friday, marking a significant step in its goal of achieving a 40% sales increase by 2025.
The Lynk & Co 900 is the brand’s largest vehicle to date, measuring 5,240 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and 1,810 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,160 mm. The six-seater SUV offers class-leading interior space, featuring expansive headroom and legroom. “With The Next Day design language and cutting-edge features, the Lynk & Co 900 sets a new benchmark for hybrid SUVs,” said a company representative at the unveiling.
Equipped with silicon carbide-powered electric motors, the Lynk & Co 900 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in under five seconds and reach a top speed exceeding 200 km/h. It offers three powertrain options, including a 2.0T engine paired with powerful dual rear motors and a more efficient 1.5T engine variant. The infotainment system, powered by dual Qualcomm 8295 chipsets, boasts a 6K resolution display.
Although pricing details were not disclosed, the model is expected to compete with premium large SUVs such as BYD’s Denza N9. Lynk & Co plans to leverage the 900 to expand its market share and support Geely’s overarching goal of selling 390,000 Lynk & Co units in 2025, a 36.63% increase from 2024.
Zeekr’s vice president, Lin Jinwen, highlighted the brand’s broader ambitions, stating, “With the integration of Lynk & Co, we aim to transform into a global luxury new energy vehicle group with annual sales in the million-unit range.”
