Lucid has launched a new software update for its Gravity SUV, adding towing functions and system improvements while giving some buyers early access to features still under development.
The over-the-air Gravity UX 3.3 update introduces Integrated Trailer Brake Control, Hitch View, and a Trailer Light Check. Hitch View allows drivers to monitor the trailer hitch on the vehicle’s screen, while the light check feature cycles through trailer lights to confirm they are functioning, accessible via Lucid’s mobile app.

Lucid is also allowing Gravity drivers to test two security features, Live View and Drive Recorder, as part of its Halo Secure system. Live View enables remote monitoring of the vehicle using its external cameras, while Drive Recorder saves video clips of incidents directly to a USB device.
Other updates include faster infotainment performance, clearer audio during calls, and home screen bookmarks for quicker navigation. “These new features make towing a breeze,” Lucid said in a statement.

The Gravity Grand Touring model is priced from $94,900 in the United States, with a lower-cost Touring version starting at $81,550 set to follow. In Europe, deliveries of the Grand Touring will begin in early 2026, priced from €116,900 ($137,000) in Germany including VAT, with the Touring model starting at €99,900 ($117,000).
Lucid is currently offering promotional incentives, including lease deals and the $7,500 federal EV tax credit available until the end of September.
