Electric vehicle maker Lucid announced it would recall more than 200 of its premium sedans due to possible safety concerns that saw its stock drop nearly five percent.
The California-based company said it was possible that the front strut damper – the part used in the suspension – on its sedan was improperly assembled by its supplier.
Lucid is not aware of any damaged parts in his vehicles, but estimates that about one percent of the 203 potentially affected cars may have parts that were not properly installed.

The company began building its $169,000 electric sedan variant in September after struggling with delays caused by quality issues. The company has shipped a small number of cars.
In recent weeks, Tesla Inc has filed a recall with the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration for issues related to its driver assistance system and other software issues.
