Luxury electric vehicle (EV) maker Lucid Motors has announced a partnership with the high-end hotel chain Four Seasons, providing guests with complimentary access to Lucid’s flagship Air sedan at select hotel locations. The program is expected to begin rolling out in the U.S. this fall, with plans to expand to Europe and the Middle East in the coming months.

Through this collaboration, guests staying at participating Four Seasons locations will have the opportunity to reserve the Lucid Air for personal use either on-site or online. In addition to self-driving options, hotel guests can also request a chauffeured service using a Lucid Air house car driven by hotel staff. The partnership also includes the installation of electric vehicle chargers at these properties, although specific details about the charging infrastructure were not disclosed.

Lucid CEO Peter Rawlinson emphasized the luxury experience the partnership aims to deliver, saying, “Every time guests step into a Lucid Air, they will be welcomed by a meticulously crafted interior, elegant design, and a driving experience that is unmatched by any other vehicle on the road today. Through this partnership, the world’s most advanced electric vehicle will now be available as a guest amenity, further enhancing the travel experience at Four Seasons properties across the globe.”

The collaboration marks a unique opportunity for hotel guests to test-drive Lucid’s luxury electric sedans without any financial commitment, potentially attracting new customers to the EV brand. Lucid’s goal is to provide a sustainable and high-end travel experience, which aligns with Four Seasons’ dedication to offering guests premium services and products.

“At Four Seasons, we offer guests the very best in both products and personalized services through an unwavering commitment to excellence,” said Marc Speichert, Executive VP and CCO of Four Seasons. “We are excited to partner with Lucid to create this new, sustainable luxury experience for our guests.”

Lucid recently strengthened its financial position with an additional $1.5 billion commitment from its majority stakeholder, the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF), which also includes plans for further collaborative projects. Despite delivering only 2,781 Air sedans in Q3, the company exceeded analyst expectations of 2,242 units. Lucid is also preparing to launch its highly anticipated second model, the Gravity SUV, before the end of this year.
