Lucid Group, Inc. has announced the appointment of Marc Winterhoff as its inaugural Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective December 4, 2023. In his new role, Winterhoff will report directly to Lucid’s CEO and CTO, Peter Rawlinson.

Peter Rawlinson, the CEO and CTO of Lucid Group, welcomed Winterhoff, emphasizing his operational expertise and keen insights into consumer and technology trends. Rawlinson sees Winterhoff as the ideal leader to drive Lucid into the next phase of growth.
The newly created COO position at Lucid will see Winterhoff spearheading international expansion, refining the company’s go-to-market strategy, and contributing to the development of manufacturing operations.
Marc Winterhoff brings a wealth of experience to Lucid, having previously held positions such as Director of LHS Communications in the Greater Atlanta Area, and roles at Arthur D. Little in Germany and Roland Berger in the Greater Chicago Area.
Lucid Group recently reported its third-quarter earnings, revealing a revenue of $137.8 million in Q3 2023. However, this represented a 30% drop compared to the previous year, falling short of the analyst consensus set at $185.1 million for the quarter. The luxury electric vehicle manufacturer delivered 1,457 units and produced 1,550 electric vehicles in the last quarter. Lucid has adjusted its production forecast for 2023 to a range between 8,000 and 8,500 units, down from the initial projection of 10,000 units.
