Lucid Gravity will be the second electric car as well as the first SUV from the manufacturer led by Andrew Liveris and Peter Rawlinson.
Lucid said the Lucid Gravity electric car will greet consumers in 2024 and can be ordered starting in early 2023.
“Gravity builds on everything we have achieved to date, namely driving the development of our in-house technology to create a performance SUV that stands apart,” said Peter Rawlinson, Chief Executive and Chief Technology Officer, Lucid Motors.
“As Lucid Air redefines the sedan segment, Gravity will make an impact in the world of luxury SUVs,” Rawlinson added.
Now in the latest teaser, Lucid provides a photo of the front view, a little back view, and a roof view from Gravity.
At the front, Lucid Gravity will have a familiar face similar to the Lucid Air complete with inline DRLs on the front hood and vertical lights on the sides of the bumper.
If you look at the side, Lucid Gravity looks like a big three-row SUV that will soon greet the Rivian R1S and Tesla Model X.
This large SUV will have a glass roof ending in a spoiler, a Gravity emblem on the D-pillar, and a rear end similar to that of the Lucid Air.
Entering the interior, Lucid Gravity offers flexible seating configurations for five to seven passengers.
The teaser shows the interior of a Lucid Gravity which has a captain seat with a futuristic design combined with a starry night treat through its glass roof.
Of course, Lucid Gravity is not left behind when it comes to technology offerings with the confirmation of the Glass Cockpit feature and the Lucid UX software.
Lucid DreamDrive’s Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) feature also has great potential to complement Gravity.
Lucid has not yet announced the full specifications of Lucid Gravity or its official launch date.
As an illustration, Lucid Air is equipped with a choice of one electric motor to three electric motors capable of producing power ranging from 480 hp to 1,200 hp.
