Li Auto’s Assisted Driving System Surpasses 550 Million Kilometers Driven

Li Auto, a Chinese new energy vehicle company, announced on March 25 that its assisted driving system has accumulated over 550 million kilometers of total mileage, with its Navigate on Autopilot (NOA) feature exceeding one billion kilometers.

The company’s NOA users have also surpassed 250,000. Li Auto highlighted the importance of its automatic emergency braking (AEB) function, which has been triggered more than 122,000 times over the past three years, providing strong protection for drivers’ safety.

Li Auto continues to invest heavily in research and development, independently developing core components such as range extenders and XCU central domain controllers. The company advocates for the inclusion of assistance systems as a standard feature and is committed to self-research in the field of assisted driving systems.

The company announced on March 24 that it has delivered over 300,000 vehicles, setting a new record for luxury brands among new vehicle firms in China. It took Li Auto only thirty-nine months to achieve this milestone, making it the fastest delivery time since December 2019.

In its Q4 financial report and 2022 full-year results, released on February 27, Li Auto generated revenue of 45.29 billion yuan ($7 billion) for FY2022, representing a year-over-year increase of 67.7%. The company also delivered a total of 133,000 units, a growth of 47%. In Q4 2022 alone, Li Auto generated revenue of 17.65 billion yuan, up by 66% year over year, while delivering 46,000 units, representing a 31.5% increase compared to the previous year.
