Li Auto Reports Strong Start to 2023 with 23.4% YoY Delivery Increase in January

Li Auto delivered 15,141 vehicles in January, down 28.69% from December but up 23.42% from the same month last year. The decline in deliveries can be attributed to the negative impact of the Chinese New Year holiday.

Li Auto currently offers two models, the Li L9 and Li L8, both of which are extended-range electric vehicles (EVs). On February 8th, the company will launch its newest model, the Li L7, a five-seat flagship family SUV.

Li Auto has been dominating monthly sales of full-size SUVs in China since September, and its vehicles have become the top choice for premium SUVs for families. The Li L7 will be available in two versions, starting at RMB 339,800 and RMB 379,800 respectively. The company has 296 retail stores in 123 cities, 320 service centers, and authorized body and paint stores in 222 cities.

Li L9 has dominated China’s monthly full-size SUV sales since last September, and Li L8 has defended the title of sales champion among large SUVs in China following Li ONE’s phenomenal performance, securing it in December 2022,” commented Xiang Li, founder, chairman, and chief executive officer of Li Auto. “With an unwavering commitment to our mission of ‘Create a Mobile Home, Create Happiness,’ we will continue to design and build products and services exceeding users’ demands. We look forward to unlocking new journeys for families of three with the official launch of Li L7, a five-seat flagship family SUV, on February 8, 2023.”

As of the end of January 2023, the Company operates 296 retail stores across 123 cities, in addition to 320 service centers and Li Auto-authorized body and paint shops located in 222 cities.

Li Auto will launch the Li L7, at the Guangzhou Auto Show on February 8, 2023. The test drive vehicle will be available at Li Auto’s retail center on February 9.

The new Li L7 is designed as a family vehicle with a capacity of five passengers. Dimensionally, the vehicle is 5,050 millimeters long, 1,995 millimeters wide, 1,750 millimeters high and 3,005 millimeters wheelbase, according to the company.
