Lexus has significantly reduced the cost of its RZ electric SUV, positioning the 2025 model as a compelling choice in the EV market.

Starting at $43,975, including destination fees, the updated pricing makes the RZ $11,200 cheaper than its predecessor and even $490 less expensive than the 2024 Toyota bZ4X.

The new entry-level trim, the RZ 300e, introduces affordability without compromising on features. It boasts LED headlights, rain-sensing wipers, two-tone 18-inch wheels, and a well-appointed interior with heated NuLuxe seats, a 14-inch infotainment system, and Lexus Safety System+ 3.0.

Powered by a 201 hp motor and a 72.8 kWh battery, the RZ 300e offers an EPA-estimated range of 266 miles, albeit with moderate performance figures, including a 0-60 mph time of 7.4 seconds.

For those seeking more power, the RZ 450e introduces a dual-motor AWD system delivering 308 hp, a 0-60 mph time of five seconds, and a range of 220 miles.

Prices across the lineup have also been slashed, with the RZ 300e Premium now starting at $48,175 and the RZ 450e Premium at $52,875. Lexus’ Reserve program, providing access to gas or hybrid models for long trips, adds further appeal to the updated RZ range.
