Lexus has introduced the new Lexus RZ as its first dedicated electric car technology (20/4). The Lexus RZ is Lexus’ first electric SUV developed from the e-Toyota New Global Architecture (e-TNGA) architectural platform.

He is a close relative of the Toyota bZ4X and Subaru Solterra which both use the e-TNGA. Now the Lexus RZ will certainly face the Genesis GV60 as one of its main competitors.

So what are the mainstay weapons of the Lexus RZ? The first is a more sporty design and is characterized by Lexus.

Compared to the GV60, which has a unique design, the Lexus RZ has a more elegant body silhouette and is more cohesive with other Lexus SUV lines.

Not only the sporty exterior, the interior of the Lexus RZ is also designed with the concept of a spacious omotenashi and contains the highest quality materials.

Then in terms of performance, the Lexus RZ 450e has two all-wheel-drive electric motors that are no less powerful than the standard GV60. The electric motor driving the Lexus RZ 450e produces 204 hp and 109 hp, respectively. If in combination, both throw 313 dk.

For information, the standard all-wheel drive Genesis GV60 has two electric motors with a combined power of 318 hp and 605 Nm of torque.

The battery embedded in the Lexus RZ is also almost equivalent to the battery that equips the Genesis GV60. With a capacity of 71.4 kWh, the Lexus RZ is claimed to have an estimated mileage of 450 kilometers according to Japan’s Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Cycles (WLTC).

This estimated mileage is close to the claimed rear-wheel drive Genesis GV60 mileage of 451 kilometers.

The last flagship weapon of the Lexus RZ, of course, is no less sophisticated features such as Proactive Driving Assist, Lexus Teammate Advanced Drive, Advanced Park, and even the One-Motion Grip electric steering wheel.
