Chinese new energy vehicle (NEV) manufacturer Leapmotor said it has delivered a total of 900,000 vehicles since its founding, a milestone the company announced on its social media platforms as it continues rapid expansion.

The company said its B series and C series models continue to gain traction among consumers. July deliveries reached 50,129 units, the first time monthly sales exceeded 50,000, and set a new record for the third consecutive month, according to previously disclosed figures.

Leapmotor’s current product lineup includes the T03, B10, B01, C01, C10, C11, and C16. The T03, B01, and B10 are offered only as battery electric vehicles (BEVs), while other models also have extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) versions.

The company reported net income of 30 million yuan ($4.2 million) in the first half of 2025, its first-ever half-year profit, according to financial results released on August 18. This made Leapmotor the second Chinese NEV startup after Li Auto (NASDAQ: LI) to post profitability over a half-year period.

Leapmotor delivered 221,664 vehicles in the first half of this year, up 155.68% from a year earlier. Between January and July, deliveries totaled 271,793 units, representing a 149.84% year-on-year increase.

On the back of strong sales momentum, the company raised its 2025 annual sales target to between 580,000 and 650,000 units, from its previous range of 500,000 to 600,000 units. Management has also set a target of 1 million annual sales in 2026.
