Stellantis-backed electric vehicle maker Leapmotor has officially launched the B10 compact crossover in China, setting a starting price of 99,800 yuan ($13,580), significantly lower than the previously announced presale price and undercutting rival BYD’s Atto 3.
The Leapmotor B10, which was first unveiled for presales on March 11, garnered 15,000 orders within the first hour of opening. Initially priced from 109,800 yuan ($14,940), the model has now launched at a more affordable base rate. Customers who place orders before May 31 will receive complimentary gifts valued up to 15,600 yuan ($2,120), the company said.

“We believe the B10 will redefine expectations in the compact EV segment with its advanced features and aggressive pricing,” a Leapmotor spokesperson said at the launch event.
The B10 adopts the Leap 3.5 modular architecture and is equipped with an 800V high-voltage system. The entry-level variant uses a 132 kW (177 hp) rear-mounted motor, while the top-trim features a more powerful 160 kW (215 hp) unit. Battery options include a 56.2 kWh pack offering up to 510 km of CLTC range and a 67.1 kWh pack for 600 km. Fast charging from 30% to 80% takes just 19–20 minutes depending on the battery size, notably faster than BYD’s Atto 3.

Visually, the B10 features a sleek design with a closed front end, a LiDAR unit mounted on the roof, split LED headlights, retractable door handles, and 18-inch wheels. It is marginally larger than the BYD Atto 3, offering more cargo space—up to 1,415 liters with rear seats folded.
Inside, the B10 is equipped with a 14.6-inch touchscreen, Snapdragon 8155 chipset, Huawei HiCar and Apple CarPlay support, and Leapmotor’s OS 4.0 Plus with AI voice control. The high-spec versions add power seats, 15W wireless phone charging, and a comprehensive sensor suite for future autonomous driving. The company aims to enable Navigate on Autopilot (NOA) for urban areas by late 2025.

The B10 is available in five trim levels priced between 99,800 yuan and 129,800 yuan ($13,580 to $17,660), undercutting the Atto 3, which retails for 115,800 to 147,800 yuan ($15,750–20,100) in China. Leapmotor plans to roll out the B10 in overseas markets, including Europe, later this year.
