Leapmotor reported record monthly deliveries in April as strong demand for newly launched models and increased production capacity drove rapid growth.

The company delivered 71,387 vehicles in April, up 73.95% from a year earlier and 42.69% higher than March levels, according to data released on Friday.

During the first four months of 2026, Leapmotor delivered 181,542 vehicles, representing a year-on-year increase of 41.18%. Cumulative deliveries reached 1,377,645 vehicles.

The company said its latest delivery record was supported by strong market demand for new product launches.

Leapmotor introduced its flagship Leapmotor D19 SUV on April 16, and the model received more than 15,000 firm orders within its first 15 days on the market. The large SUV is priced between 219,800 yuan ($32,190) and 269,800 yuan.

The automaker also launched the Leapmotor Lafa 5 Ultra on April 24 during the Beijing Auto Show, offering a limited-time starting price of 118,800 yuan.

Earlier in March, Leapmotor introduced the Leapmotor A10 compact SUV with a starting price of 65,800 yuan. The company said daily production capacity for the A10 has already exceeded 1,000 units.

Backed by Stellantis, Leapmotor is continuing to expand its product portfolio. Its upcoming Leapmotor A05 hatchback is expected to debut in May before going on sale in June.

Leapmotor delivered nearly 600,000 vehicles in 2025, and the company’s chief executive has previously said management remains confident of reaching a target of one million annual deliveries this year following strong momentum in April.

The company also launched a temporary promotional campaign in May offering vehicle buyers incentive packages valued at up to 56,680 yuan.

Leapmotor views international markets as a major long-term growth driver and said it aims to gradually increase the contribution of overseas sales to 60% of total deliveries.
