The Leapmotor A10 is gearing up to enter China as one of the most competitively priced electric crossovers on the market, arriving in the first half of 2026 with a starting price below 100,000 yuan (around 14,070 USD).
Despite its budget-friendly positioning, the A10 brings a compelling mix of range, technology, and quirky design elements. At first glance, its exterior may appear understated, but closer inspection reveals several unique styling cues—from its rectangular taillights with LED “smiling faces” to its three-segment headlights and functional air ducts.

The EV also features a 1,133-mm-long bonnet, a charging port positioned on the left front fender, blackened pillars creating a floating-roof effect, a panoramic glass roof, and sporty 18-inch wheels. Customers will be able to choose from six body colors: brown, green, blue, gray, silver, and beige.
Although its exact dimensions are still undisclosed, the Leapmotor A10 is expected to be similar in size to the BYD Atto 2 (Yuan Plus), which measures 4,310 mm long, 1,830 mm wide, and 1,675 mm tall. Leapmotor has emphasized cabin efficiency, achieving an 88.1% interior space utilization rate.

Beyond practicality, the A10 integrates advanced hardware, including a LiDAR sensor and six blue indicator lights that notify nearby road users when driver-assistance features are active. Under the skin, the crossover is equipped with Leapmotor’s latest technology stack, such as the Snapdragon 8650 computing chip for driver assistance and the high-performance Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P chip for its infotainment system.
On the performance side, the Leapmotor A10 delivers up to 500 km of CLTC range, placing it among the strongest contenders in its price class. Fast charging is also a highlight: the battery can replenish from 30% to 80% in just 16 minutes, adding roughly 250 km of driving range. Reservations are already open, with customers able to secure a spot for just 99 yuan (14 USD) or opt for a 400-yuan (56 USD) priority booking that guarantees earlier delivery once sales begin.
