Lancia has unveiled the new Gamma SUV at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, introducing a flagship model with a choice of mild-hybrid petrol and fully electric powertrains. The electric lineup includes three variants, topped by the all-wheel-drive Gamma HF Integrale.

Despite the international launch, Lancia has not announced plans to sell the Gamma in Germany. The brand is focusing on markets including Italy, France, Spain and the Benelux countries.

Design and Interior

The new Gamma measures 4.67 metres long, 1.89 metres wide and 1.63 metres high. Its sloping rear, split roof spoiler and aerodynamic design contribute to a claimed drag coefficient of 0.25. Luggage capacity is 560 litres.

The interior features a circular central storage surface with integrated controls and wireless charging. Materials include recycled textile fibres, bio-based synthetic foam and mineral-treated artificial leather.

The cockpit combines a 10.25-inch instrument display, a 12-inch head-up display and a 16-inch central touchscreen. Voice control, ChatGPT integration and Level 2 driver-assistance systems are also included.

Three Electric Variants

Built on Stellantis’ STLA Medium platform, the Gamma will be available with a 1.2-litre three-cylinder mild-hybrid petrol engine and three electric configurations.

The entry-level electric version uses a 73.7 kWh net nickel-manganese-cobalt battery and a 169 kW front-mounted motor producing 343 Nm of torque. Lancia quotes a WLTP range of more than 540 kilometres.

A Long-Range version uses a larger 97.2 kWh battery, increasing the claimed range to approximately 740 kilometres. Both front-wheel-drive electric versions have a stated maximum speed of 190 km/h.

Electric HF Integrale

The Gamma HF Integrale revives Lancia’s performance badge in an electric SUV. Its dual-motor all-wheel-drive system produces 257 kW of continuous power, with peak output rising to 276 kW when the battery charge exceeds 90%. Maximum torque is 509 Nm.

Lancia quotes a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of 5.1 seconds and a WLTP range of up to 676 kilometres from the 97.2 kWh battery.

The HF Integrale comes with adaptive suspension as standard. Its battery can charge from 20% to 80% in 27 minutes using DC charging. The model also includes battery preconditioning for charging stops, one-pedal driving and vehicle-to-load functionality.

The Gamma marks Lancia’s latest attempt to combine its historic model name with Stellantis’ current vehicle technology. However, availability in individual markets, including Germany, remains a key limitation for prospective buyers.
