Lamborghini has introduced the Fenomeno, a limited-edition plug-in hybrid supercar that the Italian automaker says is its most powerful road car ever. The model blends a V-12 gasoline engine with three electric motors to deliver a combined output of 1,065 horsepower.
Based on the company’s Revuelto platform, the Fenomeno features a 6.5-liter V-12 engine producing 823 hp and 534 lb-ft of torque, paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Two electric motors power the front wheels, while an additional axial flux unit from Yasa assists the gasoline engine. Lamborghini said the car can accelerate from zero to 60 miles per hour in 2.4 seconds and reach a top speed of more than 217 mph (350 km/h).
“With the Fenomeno, Lamborghini once again presents an incomparable super sports car in a limited edition,” Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann said. “The combination of the most powerful V-12 in our history, breathtaking design, superior aerodynamics, and cutting-edge technologies such as extreme lightweight construction makes the Fenomeno the most extraordinary super sports car of our time.”

The Fenomeno also incorporates a 7-kilowatt-hour high-voltage battery, larger than the 3.8-kWh packs used in previous models, supporting the additional electric power. Only 29 units will be produced, each equipped with carbon-ceramic brakes inspired by Lamborghini’s endurance racing program, a manually adjustable suspension system, and a new “6D” sensor technology designed to optimize traction under various driving conditions.
Industry observers noted that while plug-in hybrid systems have become common in commuter cars, Lamborghini has leveraged the technology to push performance limits in the supercar segment. The Fenomeno is expected to sell out quickly, with pricing reportedly in the millions of dollars.
