At the recent Paris Intermat show, German equipment manufacturer Kramer showcased its latest environmentally friendly offerings – the 5065e electric wheel loader and 1445e electric telehandler.

Designed for noise-sensitive areas like city centers, cemeteries, golf courses, hotels, and suburban parks, Kramer’s electric wheel loader and telehandler operate quietly and emit zero harmful diesel particulate matter and other forms of air pollution.

Christian Stryffeler, Kramer’s Managing Director, emphasized the company’s commitment to promoting its new electric vehicles (EVs) in the French market. “That’s why Intermat is an important platform for us,” Stryffeler stated. “We are also looking forward to showcasing our new generation of (electric) wheel loaders and telescopic wheel loaders here.”

The 5065e loader is equipped with a 37.5 kWh, 96V lithium-ion battery, providing up to four hours of continuous operation. A 23 kW (30 hp) electric motor propels the loader, while a 25 kW (approx. 35 hp) motor powers its 40-liter hydraulic system. The battery can be fully charged in just 5.1 hours using a “Type 2 Wallbox” (equivalent to an L2 charger). With a maximum payload of 1750 kg and a 2800 kg tipping load, the loader reaches a top speed of 20 km/h (approx. 12.5 mph).

Similarly, the 1445e telehandler features a 96V battery architecture, available in 18 kWh or 28 kWh packs. This allows fleet managers to customize battery size based on operational needs, providing four hours of run time in various work environments. Like the wheel loader, a 23 kW (30 hp) electric motor drives the telehandler, while a 25 kW (approx. 35 hp) motor powers its hydraulics. The telehandler comes standard with Level 2 charging, enabling a full charge of the larger 28 kWh battery in about five hours. With a maximum payload of 1450 kg, the telehandler offers efficient and eco-friendly operation.
