Kia has lowered prices for the 2026 model year of the Kia EV6 in the United States while adding new charging features and revising equipment packages across the line-up.
The updated EV6 now starts at $37,900 before destination charges, representing a $5,000 reduction compared with the previous model year, according to Kia.

The entry-level EV6 Light SR rear-wheel-drive model carries the new starting price, excluding a destination fee of $1,545.
At the upper end of the range, the EV6 GT-Line all-wheel-drive version is priced at $53,000, down $5,900 from the previous model year.
Kia said the EV6 Light Long Range rear-wheel-drive model will start at $41,200, while the all-wheel-drive variant will cost $45,200.

The EV6 Wind trim is priced at $44,800 for rear-wheel drive and $48,800 for all-wheel drive. Meanwhile, the GT-Line rear-wheel-drive version starts at $48,700.
“With the price re-positioning of EV6 and the launch of the all-new EV3 all-electric SUV, Kia is making EVs more attainable for those who embrace the fully electric lifestyle,” the automaker said in a statement.
For the 2026 model year, Kia has also revised the charging equipment offered with the EV6.

A dual-voltage charging cable is now included as standard across the full model range.
In U.S. states following California’s zero-emission vehicle regulations, customers will additionally receive a DC fast-charging adapter with the vehicle.
The updated EV6 also introduces Kia Plug & Charge functionality, allowing automatic authentication and payment processing at compatible charging stations through the Kia Charge Pass service.
Under the system, drivers can begin charging simply by connecting the vehicle without separately initiating payment or authentication steps.

Kia said the vehicle’s drivetrain and charging architecture remain unchanged for the new model year.
The automaker also simplified the EV6 model structure by removing the optional Tech Package previously offered on the EV6 Light Long Range variant.
According to Kia, the change was intended “to reduce complexity and streamline the offering.”
