KG Mobility (KGM) has begun exporting its Musso EV and Torres Hybrid models, signaling the start of a broader global push for the South Korean automaker’s electrified lineup. The company held a shipment ceremony on June 12 at Pyeongtaek International Automobile Terminal, where 983 vehicles were loaded for export, including 184 Musso EVs and 799 Torres Hybrids.
The vehicles are being shipped to several European markets including Germany, Spain, Hungary, and Norway, with retail sales expected to begin in August.
“The Musso EV and Torres Hybrid have already received positive reviews when introduced at new product launch events in Germany, Italy, and other countries earlier this year,” said KGM Chairman Kwak Jae-sun. “Starting with this shipment, we plan to further strengthen our differentiated marketing strategies for each country as we expand our global market launches.”
The company’s recent product introductions include the Actyon model, which debuted in Türkiye in February, followed by launches in Germany and Italy in April and May. According to KGM, more international launch events are scheduled to align with the roll-out of the Musso EV and Torres Hybrid.
Kwak noted that export figures through May have shown an upward trend compared to last year, which marked KGM’s highest export performance in a decade. “We expect export volumes to increase further once the export of Musso EV and Torres HEV begins in earnest,” he added.
