Kawasaki showed off and demonstrated its new product at the Suzuka 8 Hours endurance event. This motor sport style, using the battery as a propulsion. Reporting from Autoby (07/08), this EV sport bike appeared in a session.
The motorcycle is named Kawasaki Z Electric, its design resembles the sport naked Z250. The headlamp, and the legs resemble the naked bike, there are two right and left lights that are slightly narrowed.
The taillights are similar to the ZX-25R, making it look more sporty. The handlebars are short, but not clamped, so the rider doesn’t bend too much.
The engine was replaced with an electric motor and battery. The exhaust is also not pinned. In general, it is similar to a conventional motorcycle, but without the exhaust and engine only.
This motorcycle is still a prototype, being the initial project of Kawasaki’s electric motorcycle. In this demo, Kawasaki did not make any announcements regarding the bike. However, some time ago, this Japanese manufacturer has announced this EV project.
This eco-friendly motorcycle, equipped with a 4-speed transmission, uses regenerative braking. If it is displayed like this, it is certain that Kawasaki will sell this vehicle and it will be mass-produced.
