JCB has unveiled the redesigned S1932ED electric drive scissor lifts, aimed at enhancing ease of use and transportation efficiency.

The updated JCB S1932ED scissor lift retains all the functionalities of its predecessor but now boasts a lighter design, shedding around 250 lbs. This reduced weight not only makes it easier to load and unload the lift onto trailers but also expands the range of vehicles capable of transporting it, including the Ford E-Transit Cargo Van 350, which has a maximum payload capacity of 3,553 lbs.

Among the key updates is the addition of a standard leak containment system for the lift’s hydraulic fluids. This feature not only reduces the risk of slip-and-fall accidents on job sites but also enables the lift to qualify for work on sensitive “no drip/no spill” sites.

The S1932ED also features quick-folding rails, allowing it to navigate through low doorways and tight spaces. Additionally, an optional pipe rack is available, capable of securely transporting up to 220 lbs. of tools and materials.

The new pipe rack design not only adds convenience but also addresses health and safety concerns by reducing the strain on workers and operators when moving heavy items up and down scaffolding manually, thus minimizing the risk of job site injuries.

Furthermore, JCB highlights that the electric scissor lift’s pipe rack is compatible with the entire JCB Access range of scissor lifts and boom lifts, making it an attractive option for fleet managers with JCB-heavy equipment fleets.
