At Busworld in Brussels, Iveco Bus introduced the eDaily LE, a fully electric, low-entry version of its Daily transporter. Designed for urban mobility, the new model accommodates up to 27 passengers, including 13 seated, and aims to meet the growing demand for sustainable public transport in cities.
The eDaily LE measures 7.6 metres in length, making it significantly shorter than standard 12-metre city buses and well-suited for narrow urban streets. Iveco says the model was developed to support the energy transition of transport operators seeking to reduce emissions while maintaining passenger comfort and accessibility.

Built on the eDaily electric van platform launched in 2022, the new minibus can be ordered in left- or right-hand drive. It is available with three or four 37 kWh lithium-ion battery packs, offering total capacities of 111 kWh or 148 kWh. With four battery packs, the vehicle can travel up to 270 km on a single charge. A full recharge reportedly takes about two hours on a fast charger or ten hours via AC charging.
Accessibility is a key focus for Iveco’s latest minibus. The eDaily LE features a lowered entrance, grab handles, and a side ramp designed to assist passengers with limited mobility. Inside, passengers benefit from USB ports at every seat, a 15-inch information display, and a video surveillance system for added safety and convenience.

Compared to earlier eDaily minibus variants, which had steps instead of a low entry and a maximum of three battery packs, the new model offers improved inclusivity and flexibility. Iveco also recently secured a contract for 129 electric minibuses from the Lazio region in central Italy, produced in collaboration with Romana Diesel and Spanish bodybuilder Indcar—showing the growing demand for compact, zero-emission transport solutions across Europe.
