Italjet brought its first electric motorbike, the e01 Dragster Electric, at the EICMA 2022 event. The electric motorbike will be officially introduced by the manufacturer in mid-2023. e01 Dragster will have an electric motor capable of spitting out power up to 12 kW (16 horsepower), and has a torque of up to 360 Nm.
Dragster e01 Electric uses a 4.91 kWh battery, this battery is also claimed to be able to run up to 180 km. This battery is described as only taking 4 hours to be able to charge up to 95 percent, and it takes 5.5 hours to be able to fully charge the battery to 100 percent.
Apart from the e01, the manufacturer will also display another motorbike, the 500 GP. This motorbike is claimed to be a hyper sports vehicle by carrying a 4 stroke single cylinder engine, which will be capable of spitting out 43 horsepower at 8,000 rpm and reaching a peak torque of 43 Nm at 6,000 rpm.
“The Dragster 500 GP is a hyper sport that has a lot of power thanks to its light weight,” said a spokesperson for Italjet.
Italjet Dragster 500 GP is described as carrying a system like any other motorbike, equipped with electronic fuel injection, electric start and having 2 exhausts. Even though it has been displayed, the manufacturer has not set a selling price for these two motorbikes until the time of their release in mid-2023.
